Fall Into Fitness

Just because the leaves are changing colors, doesn’t mean you should give up on your workout routine. As a matter of fact, fall is the best season to head outside for exercise - the weather is crisp, the sun is still strong, and the foliage is breathtaking! There are many outdoor activities you can participate in this time of year include the following:


Hiking - Head out for a hike at a local park or a nearby nature trail. Not only is walking one of the most beneficial exercises, but it’s also a great way to simultaneously observe the color-changing leaves. So grab a light jacket, a pair of running shoes, and fall into fitness with this great cardiovascular activity.

Biking - Bike riding is another type of workout to get you outdoors this season. The best part about biking is that it’s easy on your legs, ankles, and knees, and is easier than running. This means you can go a further distance and burn more calories!
